Oboe Teaching Workshop

Join me on zoom for a relaxed chat about oboe teaching.

This is a workshop aimed at Woodwind Teachers who may have to teach the oboe despite not playing it or who are concerned about teaching the oboe due to not playing it. This is your opportunity to ask questions, discuss ideas, and learn about important techniques like embouchure and breathing, plus some tips on how to help with oboe reeds.

You will be sent a booklet with useful information for teaching covering 1st lessons, Breathing, Embouchure, tonguing Information about Junior & Student Oboes and tips for helping students with oboe reeds.

The aim is to give you the confidence to teach young oboists and to hopefully give you the confidence to offer the oboe as an option in schools.

This zoom workshop will be recorded and you will have access to the recording for 1 month after the workshop via a link sent to you. If you are based overseas and cannot join us live send me any questions you may have so I can make sure they are covered during the session. You will then be sent the link to the workshop and should hear the answers you are looking for.

This workshop will be all about the European style of playing based on playing European style reeds. Thank you.
