Professional Oboe Reed

This is a reed made from carefully chosen cane that is gouged to .57mm and then hardness tested. I use medium hardness for these reeds. I use Bourgue Shape as standard but can use LM-2, H71 or H17 if you would prefer but I find the Bourgue shape produces reeds with really stable intonation and a lovely round sound. I use a mid length U scrape and the reeds are 72mm long. I do wire the reeds but if you don't want them wired I can leave that off.
